Gloucester County New Jersey's Gloucester County Video is going out of business, unfortunately due to the big corporate video stores (Blockbuster, Hollywood, etc) moving in on the blossuming area. Gloucester County Video is runned and owned by a little old woman named Flo, and her cat Junior, who prances about the store and affectionately rubs against your leg while you select your video. Since the new DVD technology has made VHS tapes essesntially worthless, and there's hardly any possible way a small business can re-buy it's entire catalog in DVD format, she is left with no other option but to close up shop and sell her entire stock. Unlucky for her loyal customers who now have to put up with other video's stores limited selection and extreme prices (GCV remains $1.00 one night rentals), but lucky for you, film fans, because she's selling rare, out of print films, and original posters.
If there's ANY film you would like to own (All on VHS) or any poster you're looking to buy (Mostly movies from the early 90's) please, contact me, leave me a comment, and I'll search to find it for you and give you a price. This blog is simply geared to advertise some obscure movies and posters I found laying around in her basement.
